↓Howdy!
When we set roots in Houston in 1979, the Pacific Island community was limited to a very few families and a handful of transplants. A small but tight knit community.
Fast forward to today and Houston’s community has grown exponentially! Our organization was created to help bridge the gaps between Houstonians and their island roots through education, community, social events, support or sometimes, just a good time.
Although this community has grown, it has a ways to go before breaking even with the heavy hitting cities. Increased numbers, but scattered communities.
We created Pasifika Nights Mini Fest & Night Market to bring those communities together. When that happens we want to create the best experience we can! We thought how could we support our limited Houston community, and the answer was: by uplifting our greater Pasifika community! That’s when the The Pasifika Mini Mart was born. We get to support Pacific Island artists while showcasing them to a community that is not robust enough (yet) to bring people across state lines.
We look forward to collaborating with you to acheive that goal.

Revenue &
Guarantee
TAPA Houston will be responsible for taking payments on all inventory received, but all sales will go 100% to the vendor. This pilot is not intended to make profits for our organization but purely offer more for our community and uplift PI brands.
While we cannot prevent shipping damage, TAPA Houston will take full responsibility of your items while in our care. We realize it can be stressful sending precious items with no guarantee, but we are committed to making this the first of many Mini Marts and promise to treat your items with absolute love and care. Should the worst happen and items are damaged or lost, TAPA Houston will also assume financial responsibility.
